Aging Advocates was created to promote a platform to better educate families and professional caregivers in the aging process. Our vision was fostered from our expertise in caring for Alzheimer’s and other related Dementia patients. Our mission is to train “the caregiver” on how to engage each day with purpose and create meaningful moments. In turn, families and professional caregivers can navigate the aging process to maintain the greatest level of independence, autonomy, and well-being.
RN, BSN,CDP, CADDCT is an experienced professional with over 20 years in the healthcare industry. She has extensive experience in the establishment and growth of start-up agencies with Medicare & Medicaid certification including, but not limited to, the development and establishment of the business plan, policies/procedures, and continuing education programs. In addition, she possesses extensive knowledge of Medicare regulations, private duty and home health accreditation process. Her focus is patient care and providing families and caregivers the tools for success.
MOT/L, CDP, CADDCT, earned a dual Bachelor’s Degree from the University of South Florida in Speech Pathology and Audiology as well as a Master of Occupational Therapy from Nova Southeastern University. She has been practicing occupational therapy for over 20 years, primarily with geriatrics, in a variety of settings. For the past 9 years she has worked in Home Health creating programs to ensure maximum level of independence in the home. Stacy developed a Cognitive Stimulation Program utilized by patients, family, therapists and caregivers for those diagnosed with a cognitive deficit. Her focus has always been to arm patients, families and caregivers with the knowledge, techniques and environmental modifications necessary to maximize independence and safety.
